Just a thought - Is it more beneficial to wait the 3 ft. out or allow the pumpkin to mature along with the plant more?

Beautiful Steve!! Pollinate them both like I'm sure you will then make that decision in a couple weeks. That's where I'm at now with 2 pollinated at 20 and 23 feet out. I have lots of plant behind it already.:)

Nice, I'm sure that would be an acceptable plant & pollination for most growers. Its a worthy option but perhaps not the only option.

Since my path forward is so fluid at this point, and after reradings your reply's. I'll pollinate the 2nd one and have two for at week and then make the cull decision. But this means I got to move some vines to incorporate an "S" curve in a couple places.
